Emirates increase service

Commencing today, 7th April, Emirates are increasing cargo frequency/capacity between Dubai and London Heathrow, with new passenger flights joining their two weekly freighters.

The additional flights will operate on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday as detailed below:

Emirates freighter frequency:
From 30th March 2020 | Four weekly Passenger Freighter flights to and from Melbourne
From 31st March 2020 | Daily Passenger Freighter flights to and from Banglalore, Mumbai, Cochin, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad and Trivandrum

The closure of many airports and grounding of airline fleets globally has had a profound impact on ground handling agents, threatening the existence of many.

In order to counter the commercial threat facing their business and meet emerging demands as air carriers slowly recover, Emirates handling agent, dnata, is implementing a COVID-19 surcharge effective 9th April 2020 @ GBP 0.04 per kilo – GBP 8.00 minimum, applicable to all import and export cargo handled at all dnata UK stations.
