  • Manage the end-to-end candidate journey, delivering a positive and engaging experience from initial contact through to offer acceptance.
  • Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate suitability, skills, and cultural fit against role requirements.
  • Partner with hiring managers to shortlist candidates, ensuring strong alignment between business needs and candidate profiles.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, providing guidance to both candidates and interviewers to ensure a smooth and professional process.
  • Communicate verbal offers to candidates and agencies, supporting hiring managers through the offer stage and ensuring timely acceptance.
  • Oversee relationships with external recruitment agencies, ensuring effective collaboration, cost control, and quality of candidate submissions.
  • Ensure recruitment processes are compliant with internal policies and relevant employment legislation, while maintaining accurate records and reporting.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships by providing market insights, talent intelligence, and advice on recruitment challenges and hiring strategies.
  • Produce regular recruitment reports and analytics, highlighting progress, trends, and areas for improvement.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in an internal recruitment or talent acquisition role, with a strong track record of direct sourcing and candidate engagement.
  • Demonstrable expertise in using LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques to identify and attract high-quality talent across multiple channels.
  • Experience building and managing candidate pipelines for both immediate vacancies and future hiring needs.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers and senior leaders, providing insight, challenge, and guidance on hiring strategies.
  • Ability to assess and match candidates to role requirements through effective screening, shortlisting, and competency-based evaluation.
  • Experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes, including interview coordination, offer management, and candidate negotiations.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to discuss recruitment challenges and provide market insights to stakeholders.
  • Experience within logistics, shipping, or a related industry is highly desirable.
