Metro runner for Crohn’s & Colitis UK

Crohn’s disease and colitis are inflammatory bowel diseases, with a wide variety of symptoms, which cause pain, inflammation, tiredness and weight-loss, and one Metro team member decided to do something about it.

Crohn’s & Colitis is a life-long condition which is often diagnosed in young people, requiring lifestyle changes and often life changes, which can be profound.

Metro Key Account Director, Daniel Quinney, ran the Alton Towers Half Marathon 2023, on 12th November, on behalf of the Crohn’s & Colitis UK charity in 128 minutes, two minutes ahead of his target!

However, despite Daniel’s gallant effort, his colleagues support and contributions by Metro, he is still a little short of his fund-raising target of £1,000.

Daniel’s already decided to take up another challenge next year to support the charity, but you can help him over the line for this year’s effort, with a small contribution on his JustGiving page.
